About Me

Let me start by saying, that picture was taken 12/31/11 – New Years Eve. I’m sure you can figure out why I look so happy. 

You can call me Emily. I should be graduating college in May 2012. Of course, that means I have to get off Facebook, Pinterest, Polyvore, and Reddit, and actually get some work done. I tried that and ended up with this blog instead of a 20 page paper on celebrities in cosmetic advertisements.

I’ll be honest. I wouldn’t call myself a style expert. In fact, if you saw me on any random day you’d probably think, “this chick has a blog column about style?” It’s true – I’m a jeans and t-shirt girl but I looove clothes. I’m also a poor college student. I’m so much better at picking out clothes for other people, not so much myself. I also love all things beauty + make up. Every time I’m home at my parents, I beg my sister to let me do her make up and hair. Not so good on the hair part but I like to think I’m good with make up. Hey, she let me do it for both of her high school proms – that has got to count for something!

I’m not yet sure what this blog will be. I have a list of things I want to talk about but we all know those lists usually change. Quickly. I know that Friday’s will be mostly dedicated to “Fashion Friday’s – Get the Look!” Cheesy, right? Monday’s for Make-up, you see where I’m going with this?  I’ll also throw in tidbits about my frantic search for a job and try to answer some of my own life questions. Join me.
